Blog writing helps refine writing skills

Even if your agenda isn’t to become a professional writer or become an authority in your niche, it does help in lot more ways that you will appreciate in the long run. Initially, you might catch yourself sulking about the time and effort it takes for maintaining a blog though. I’ve jot down a few reasons why I like blogging and would suggest it for anybody who is in search of a hobby. Would be more than happy if you make me realize that there are more reasons to update, after you read along.

It helps you understand things in a better way and keep things simple. Helps with expressing ideas in a clear, concise and practical manner. This eventually tweaks the efforts you put in to communicate with people.

Gives you the privilege to fracture the original rules of grammar if you are putting in enough efforts to make your writing be more digestible!(Remember, nobody ever complains that your writing is simple.)

You get to play a bit of a copywriter and a bit of a journalist while you educate yourself enough to include anecdotes, facts, statistics, expert references, testimonials, metaphors and ironies (and what not) about the topic which you happen to blog about.

You get to decide the niches that you want to explore and blog about, choosing your own Headlines. And you get to connect and befriend people who resonate with the same voice, ideas, and thoughts like yours.

Over time you get better at writing headlines and initial paragraphs which in a way reward your reader for spending time on your blog (Phew! This is indeed a milestone)

Whether you use a blog to support an offline business or just hope to make the world a better place by the help of your blog, you’d be leaning into make a difference even if it is a small one.

Helps you share your knowledge, at the same time earn more exposure where it feels like an endeavor in itself. In the long run, pushes you to demonstrate more credibility with regards to your writing skills. Hope this was persuading and helpful.
