Somalia Wants Qatar To Mediate With Al Shabaab
The President of Somalia Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed has made a proposal to the Emir of Qatar Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. The President of Somalia wants the Qatari government to be the sponsor of a truce between the government of Somalia and Al Shabaab. Al Shabaab is a known terrorist group. The Somalian president also wants the lead for the negotiations to be Fahd Yassin who is the head of the Somali intelligence agency.
