A screen that contains a lot of data is prone to be cluttered. To not overwhelm the user, you need to spend a little more time on designing how your data should be shown. To get a better understanding of this, it is wise to spend some time studying data visualization to make it easier to make the right choices regarding showing your data.

Not every user that uses your app understands every part of the technology you use. That is why changing your language to fit your user base helps a lot to reduce cognitive friction. To get a better understanding of what your users are like, it is recommended to do good market research.

Another important part to this; is to not expose the user to class names or raw data that comes straight from the API. A user most likely does not want to be confronted with these things as these can cause confusion. To combat this it is wise to always use human-friendly language.

Making the user not have to think a lot is a core component of a good UI. A good thing to remember not every user is a so-called “Expert User” who has a very good understanding of tech related things and wants to do everything the hard way.
