I was arrested for Gaza.

Tuesday morning I woke up early with 7 members of my Jewish community to chain ourselves to the doors of the Israeli Consulate in Boston to take a stand as American Jews against the Israeli army’s horrendous violence against Palestinian protesters in Gaza on Friday.

Minutes later, we were handcuffed and arrested.

Together we sang our hearts out to show the world that American Jews oppose the violence against Palestinian protesters in Gaza on the eve of Passover.

It was the deadliest day in Israel/Palestine since the 2014 Gaza War. And, if we do nothing, the violence against the people of Gaza — which has already claimed the lives of 17 people already — looks like it will only get worse.

But if we’re gonna stop another war, we’re going to need you.

Looking forward to strategizing with you on Sunday.
