LETS DIVE INTO THE DEEP OF CLASS 2

After successful completion of assignment 1, I was on cloud nine that first time in my life I have written a blog and posted the in public domain.

After a few days, I got a message of my assignment approval and the cherry on top was the promise of getting ₹1000 just for submission.

A list of top 100 interns was announced later and I didn’t find my name in it. I was a little bit disappointed feeling low and my husband sensed it and asked me about it, after knowing all the things he explained to me about the Valley of Disappointment, when you try something new, you cannot taste success at the very beginning.

He also explained to me that to taste success I need to work hard, give more effort and follow my mentor more closely. Also, I should analyze and learn from my previous mistakes. And guess what? Almost the same things we’re told by Deepak in the next class.

VALLEY OF DISAPPOINTMENT

In the second session, we got to know about the assignment submission rate which was 89%.

It means most of the interns tried their best for completing the assignment on time.

There was a positive pressure of doing it as we were promised by Deepak to be rewarded for submitting the assignment on time.

GOLDEN TRIANGLE

The class started with some revision about the golden triangle.

When you learn or do something, you should do teaching as well, in that way you can convert your learning into understanding and you will remember it forever.

When you teach, you understand things in a better way.

When you try to do something new, you just want to be perfect in that. But, even though some mistakes happen.

Don’t be afraid of making mistakes, as getting things done is more important than getting things done perfectly.

As we all know that, getting things perfect for the very first time is nearly impossible.

For example — I am new in this Digital Marketing course, I am learning this from basics and also doing mistakes. And by learning from those mistakes, I am improving myself time and again.

And I will get perfect in some days by doing practices.

“Practice makes a man perfect”

Good marketing is about having good conservation. You should be confident and fluent in having a conversation with your customers so that you would be able to describe your thoughts and views about anything.

If you cannot converse well 1:1, you cannot converse 1:many. It means if you are unable to have a conversation with 1 person, you wouldn’t be able to converse with many people. There can be some hesitation or fear of speaking out.

You just have to write for one person at a time. Write it in the form of email about something to your friend.

Always try to be authentic to communicate better. People are very conscious about fake people. And likes the one who is real and authentic.

Many times we have found some people in our surroundings who are one for themselves and different in social persona.

Always try to be honest, show your originality, tell your likes and dislikes openly. Everyone is attracted to someone real.

May some people will dislike you and say negative things about you. But you shouldn’t be concerned about it, as you cannot please everyone in this world.

You shouldn’t change yourself for the sake of other people.

Persons who have more life experiences are better marketers. Experiences can come by doing new things every time. By doing new things you can learn many positive and negative aspects of that.

Traveling to different places, cities, countries make you know about new things, about different people and their cultures. We would know about the uniqueness of that place and things which are famous in that location.

You can also get experience by learning different languages.

You should try to find your audience, as there is a large spectrum of people belonging to different ages, castes, religions, and races around you but, you have to search for the specific one.

Demographics and Psychographics help in finding the target audience. Write to one single customer at a time by connecting with them 1:1.

Email and Messaging are more powerful than social media. Try to make the headline connected to the first sentence and the content of the first sentence to the next one and so on.

Your writing should be like a conversation. Address people by their first name just like you interact with your friends.

In general, a customer avatar is the detailed profile of your ideal customer which you outline after detail research. The avatar revolves around one person or ideal customer and outlines everything about them.

To build a customer avatar I need to know the exact need of my customers, their pain points, their demographic location, their psychology in selection & spending.

Then comes the big part Deepak conducted a live survey on us explained the reason for the question in it and analyzed the data and created a customer avatar out it and all of us were like WOW.

He also explained when I am analyzing the data I need to Focus on the Center, not on Boarder.

And my assignment is to make a customer avatar based on my niche.

I sat and make a survey form based on my niche and shoot it to my family & friends using mail & social media.

But guess what I did not get any response, then again my mentor’s word came to my mind “Don’t hesitate in getting things done”, I picked my phone and started calling people to fill my survey, and I persuaded most of them to fill it.

And finally, the wait was over and results started pouring.

After finding the right person we must ensure that he/she must take an interest in our product and give a positive response.
